Default New Death Magic Elite Skill

It would be called "Re-animate"

What it would do is re-animate a dead corpse of a monster. For example.. If I were to kill a Kournan Guard, then use Re-animate on it, the actual Kournan Guard would become ressurected to fight for me. It would use all the skills a Kournan Guard would use.

This skill would be similar to the level 30 skill that the necromancer gets from Diablo II.

This may seem overpowering.. And of course you wouldn't be able to use this on other players' dead bodies. But maybe like make it last 10 seconds or so?

Also, the re-animted figure would look a bit different somehow. Maybe all blood red or something.

Anyway, what do you all think?

Yea, it would be confusing as hell for PvP.

On the theme though, I want an Animate Undead Rurik skill.

In PvP, I guess you just animate a copy of the player. The real player is still dead on the ground, waiting for a res.

I've always wanted a Reanimate skill. I'm not sure how it would work for PvP, but I don't PvP much, so I like it.

For PvP, maybe have the re-animated person have 5..60% the attributes and 45..70% the level? 70% of Level 20 is Level 14. This would be just fine for PvE too, as higher end monsters are closer to Level 28, and 70% of that rounds up to Level 20.

You might have to give it a hefty cost, cast, and recharge (15/3/30) and have the minion die after 5..60 seconds, not leaving a corpse.

Good idea though. It'll be tricky to get approved.

Maybe make 50% chance to fail with Death Magic under 10 or something.

Don't want non-Necros stealing our skills. :P

Best thing would be to make it an Elite. Not like Flesh Golem where you can only have one, but say, "Create a level 5-20 re-animated creature. This creature uses it's skills it had when it was alive. Re-Animated creature does not leave an exploitable corpse.

Energy 20, cast 4, recharge 45

That way you can have multiples of this elite creature, yet the 30 second recharge balances it so that you won't have a full army of them 5 minutes into a mission. Even with halve skill recharge kicking in, 22.5 seconds is a bit too long to raise an army of these guys. And that's if "HSR" kicked in EVERY time. Then you have the chance of it getting interrupted.(See, im already balancing this skill before integrating it into the game!) With this skill set the way it is, I seriously doubt anyone in their right mind would take this as an elite for PvP. The recharge is a bit too long even for MM factory in PvP
